Hull Trains between Beverley / Hull and London Kings Cross

TOC(s) affected
Hull Trains;

The ongoing effects of the recent adverse weather alongside the current weather conditions means Hull Trains will be running a reduced service until further notice. Their fleet has suffered from ingress of ice and snow into the electrics, which has resulted in additional repairs being required to return some of their trains to service.

Alternative travel advice:
Customers with Advance or 'Hull Trains Only' tickets who intended to travel on a cancelled or amended service can find alternative travel arrangements here.

Unfortunately, travel with Virgin Trains East Coast and Grand Central is only available on the services clearly specified in the alternative travel arrangements. Please do not board any other Virgin Trains East Coast or Grand Central services otherwise you will be charged for an additional ticket which will not be refunded. Hull Trains apologise for the additional inconvenience caused by this situation.

The following changes are in place from Monday 19 March until Friday 23 March:

  • 07:22 London Kings Cross - Hull is cancelled
  • 10:30 Hull - London Kings Cross is cancelled
  • 13:48 London Kings Cross - Hull is cancelled
  • 15:48 London Kings Cross - Hull terminates at Doncaster
  • 17:10 Hull - London Kings Cross starts at Doncaster
  • 19:11 Hull - London Kin's Cross is cancelled

Hull Trains services not listed above are scheduled to run.

Ticket Easements:
Tickets dated for travel from 28 February to 28 March inclusive will be accepted for travel on any Hull Trains service up to and including Wednesday 28 March. Time restrictions which normally affect off-peak and super off-peak tickets will not be in force on Hull Trains services during this period, but other operators may still enforce them.

If you choose not to travel at all, please return your tickets to the original point of purchase. Hull Trains will not charge any administration fees on tickets submitted for refund dated for travel from 28 February to 28 March inclusive.
