Engineering work is taking place between Cardiff Central and Severn Tunnel Junction, closing some lines.


CrossCountry services running to / from Cardiff Central will be retimed to depart Cardiff Central earlier than usual, and arrive at Cardiff Central later than usual.

Great Western Railway:

As a result, some Great Western Railway services will be amended to start / terminate earlier or later than usual, or be amended to start / finish at different stations.

After 08:30 each day, services between Cardiff Central and Portsmouth Harbour will run between Bristol Temple Meads and Portsmouth Harbour only.

Services running between London Paddington and South Wales will be retimed between Newport and Cardiff Central by up to 8 minutes. Trains will run to normal times between Bristol Parkway and London Paddington.
