Engineering work is taking place between Banbury / Hanborough and Oxford, closing all lines.


Buses replace trains between Banbury and Oxford, extending journey times by up to 30 minutes.

Great Western Railway

A revised timetable will operate at Oxford, with some trains arriving / departing a few minutes later / earlier than normal.

Buses replace trains between Oxford and Hanborough, taking approximately 30 minutes. A reduced service will run between Hanborough and Worcester / Hereford.

Buses will also replace trains between Oxford and Banbury, calling at all stations, extending journey times by up to 30 minutes.

Customers travelling direct between London and Oxford may use Chiltern Railways trains between London Marylebone and Oxford Parkway the Park & Ride buses to / from Oxford.
