The Bath Half Marathon – or the ‘Bath Half’ as it is affectionately known, is one of the longest established and most popular city centre road events in the UK. It is also the largest charity fundraising event in the South West region, raising over £2.25 million for charity in 2017 alone.

Bath is a town set in the rolling countryside of southwest England, known for its natural hot springs and 18th-century Georgian architecture. Honey-coloured Bath stone has been used extensively in the town’s architecture, including at Bath Abbey, noted for its fan-vaulting, tower and large stained-glass windows.

Recommended station

Bath Spa station is a few minutes walk from the city centre.

What's happening with the trains?

Additional train services will operate between Bristol Temple Meads, Swindon and Westbury to and from Bath. Longer trains will run where possible.
