Engineering work is taking place overnight between Hackney Downs and Cheshunt via Tottenham Hale, from 23:15 until 05:00 each night from Monday evening to Friday morning, closing all lines.

As a result, trains will be diverted to run via Seven Sisters rather than via Tottenham Hale. Stations on the Seven Sisters line are within walking distance of stations on the Tottenham Hale line.

On Tuesday to Friday mornings, the 04:40 London Liverpool Street to Stansted Airport service will call at Seven Sisters instead of Tottenham Hale.

Network Rail are building an additional track between Stratford and Angel Road which will reduce congestion for passengers, increase the number of trains per hour and support regeneration across the Upper Lee Valley area.

A new station is also being built at Meridian Water to support the regeneration of a vast industrial area into 10,000 new homes and nearly 7000 new jobs. Network Rail are delivering the new station as part of the £170m Lee Valley Rail Programme.
