Beeston (BEE)

From Monday 8th September 2025, work will start to improve the forecourt area at Beeston Station. The project will take around 10 weeks and will make the station safer, brighter, and more welcoming for everyone.

What’s changing:

• A newly resurfaced and remodelled forecourt

• Repairs to the front of the station building

• A brand-new cycle shelter

• More seating

• Upgraded lighting

• Better waste and recycling facilities

Things to be aware of during the works:

• At times, access to the ticket office and toilets will be via Platform 1 only

• Some car parking spaces on the Platform 1 side will be temporarily unavailable

  – please use the extra EMR spaces on Locomotive Way instead.

• Some work will take place overnight to help keep the project on schedule.
