Station Message: Alert!

Due to redevelopment work being carried out; Queens Drive area will be closed to pedestrians from 1st August 2011 until further notice.

Alternative pedestrian routes via Smallbrook Queensway and Dudley Street will be signposted.

A new pedestrian route between the NCP car park and the centre will be in operation from 26th March 2012 until further notice. Please visit www.networkrail.co.uk/birminghamnewstreet for further information and all the latest news on the re-development of Birmingham New Street Station.

The Pallasades car park above the station will be closed as of Friday 18th May 2012 at 19.00.

Please allow more time to catch trains if you are being dropped off at the station front from the 4th December 2011 due to changes to the traffic arrangements on the main approach road, one lane is now closed due to work on the creation of a new public square as part of the re-generation of the station and a number of short stay car parking facilities have been significantly reduced.
