Level access from Railway Street past the ticket office to platform 1 (trains to Manchester). From platform 1 an open wooden stepped bridge (26 steps up and 27 steps down) gives access to platform 2 (trains to Liverpool) and Platform 3 (trains to Liverpool & Warrington Bank Quay. From here a footpath leads to Platform 4 for trains to Manchester and via another footbridge up 28 steps and down 27 steps onto platform 5 (trains to Warrington Bank Quay and North Wales). Level access is also available to platform 5 from Old Wargrave Road which is approximately 2 miles from the station ticket office.
