Via main entrance and lifts to all platforms. Customers with wheelchairs who require assistance on graduated slopes should press the ticket gate 'assistance' button located at the bottom of the stairs near the self service ticket machines. To ensure availability of staff to assist, it is imperative that customers book assistance in advance.

Please note that due to refurbishment work by Network Rail, the front of Leicester station has been closed to all vehicles except taxis. This work will run from October 2011 and is expected to take 10 months. Customers are advised to allow additional time to catch their trains, to accommodate the alternative arrangements that have been made. There are 2 marshalls available to assist at the front of the station.
Due to this work, disabled parking spaces are currently available in the station's main car park on Fox Street. (Designated spaces are marked out along the track side fence). This work is expected to last for 10 months, starting October 2011. Normal parking fees apply to all customers including Blue Badge Holders. There is a signposted pedestrian route to the front of the station via Station St and London Road.
