From Withington Street, across the footbridge and down a stepped ramp (32 paces, 1:8 slope with 18 steps of 12cm rise 170cm apart) to the ticket office. Or from University Road West up ramp (43 paces, 1:24 slope) or up 22 steps, across the footbridge (27 paces) and down a stepped ramp (32 paces, 1:8 slope, with 18 steps of 12cm rise 170cm apart) to the ticket office. Trains to Manchester and Manchester Airport leave on the right. Trains to Bolton and Wigan leave on the left.
