    The East Coast Main Line will be closed between York and Northallerton from Saturday 23 May to Monday 25 May inclusive. As a result, your journey is likely to involve using rail replacement transport if travelling between York and Darlington. More information can be found on our engineering page.

    Rail replacement coaches will depart from Memorial Gardens on Leeman Road. Exit the station via the main entrance and turn left onto Station Road to proceed past the Milner Hotel. At the pedestrian crossing, cross Station Rise to access Memorial Gardens. The coach stop is approximately 5-10 minutes from the station entrance.

    Additionally, the short-stay car park will be closed from Saturday 23 to Monday 25 (inclusive). Please allow extra time to find alternative parking.
