Barnes is unsuitable for wheelchair users. Wheelchair users are advised to do join services at Mortlake (approximately 10 minutes by road) where there is level access to platform two, which is served both by countrybound services and trains destined for London (Teddington and Hounslow services) - Londonbound pasengers doing this also have the capacity to change at Richmond (which has lifts to/from every platform) to pick up direct trains into Waterloo.
