Station Message: Alert!

From 20 May 2013, our ongoing station improvement program is being delivered by Network Rail as part of the Department for Transports Access for All and National Stations Improvement Programmes.

 

This will incorporate a new footbridge with lift access to both platforms and incorporating a wider staircase.  The demolition of the current structures will make way for new facilities.

 

The installation of Ticket Vending Machines and a temporary ticket office will be installed within the car park on platform one.  There will also be a unit selling beverages.   Some facilities will close and unavailable during the work program.

 

Please note:

There will be no vehicle access to what is the current station forecourt from the 23 May 2013 this is to allow space in that area for the site office.

 

Updates will be displayed around the station.
