From the station entrance, level access through the subway and then up 28 steps to the ticket hall or via the lift located opposite the steps in the subway. Lift open for all services. Turn right from the ticket hall or from the lift for platform 3 for trains to Manchester and turn left for platform 1 for trains to Oldham, Bradford and Leeds. Some Oldham trains start from platform 2 : From the ticket hall turn left for platform 1 and then turn right along the platform (46 paces) to platform 2, or from the lift turn left for platform 1 and then right to reach platform 2.
