Manchester Victoria (MCV)

Station improvement works are taking place at Manchester Victoria station to install additional stairs serving platforms 4, 5 and 6. Customers will see hoardings on parts of the platforms and overbridge whilst these works are carried out. There may be some temporary changes to routes through the station, and some platform lengths have been reduced, which may affect where trains stop. Step-free access via lifts remains available throughout the works. Please follow station signage and any instructions from staff, who will be on hand to help if required. We expect the works to be completed in early 2027 and thank you for your patience during the improvements.
