Some tickets may require you to travel at specific times of the day, days of the week or on a specific route. Our Journey Planner takes ticket restrictions into account with the selection that you have made and will only have shown tickets that are valid for the selected trains.

Outward Travel

Not valid on trains timed to arrive at:

  • London Terminals after 04:29 and before 10:00;

  • Stratford International or Stratford (London) after 04:29 and before 09:50;

  • Tottenham Hale or Seven Sisters after 04:29 and before 09:40.

Return Travel

 Not valid on trains timed to depart:

  • London Terminals after 04:29 and before 09:30;

  • London Liverpool Street after 16:28 and before 18:35;

  • London Kings Cross or pass through London St Pancras International after 16:28 until 19:01;

  • northbound from Stratford (London) after 04:29 and before 09:38, after 16:35 and before 18:42;

  • northbound from Tottenham Hale after 04:29 and before 09:40, after 16:40 and before 18:41.

Easement

18:30 London Liverpool Street to Norwich service - easement applies from Liverpool Street to Derby Road (Ipswich), Trimley and Felixstowe only, changing at Ipswich.

Seasonal Variations

Evening peak restrictions from Liverpool Street, Stratford (London) and Tottenham Hale are lifted during school holiday and half-term periods, as follows:
