East Midlands Railway has introduced a Carnet ticket based on 10 discounted Anytime tickets. There is a minimum of ten tickets that need to be issued. Only available on East Midlands Railway services to/from London St Pancras and one of the following stations:

  • Barnsley, Sheffield, Chesterfield, Meadowhall, Duffield, Whatstandwell , Willington, Ambergate, Derby, Nottingham, Alfreton, Langley Mill, Cromford, Long Eaton, Beeston, Burton on Trent, Matlock, Matlock Bath, Belper, Loughborough, Leicester, Market Harborough, Kettering, Wellingborough.

This product is available from staffed rail stations, rail appointed travel agents and East Midlands Railway Telesales.

Booking Conditions

Carnet tickets are valid for 3 months from the date of issue and all outward and return travel must be completed with in the validity period. No Railcard or child discounts are available. No refunds or changes to travel plans are allowed once a Carnet ticket has been purchased.

Passengers Information

When self-validating a Carnet, customers should be advised to endorse the date with 2-digit numerical values only, eg. 07 09 for travel on 7th September, using permanent black ink.

The ticket will need to be validated before the first journey on that day commences.
