Discounts for Groups travelling together

Most Train Companies offer discounts for groups of people travelling together.

GroupSave

GroupSave is offered by the following train companies:

c2c, Caledonian Sleeper, Chiltern Railways, Gatwick Express, Great Northern, Great Western Railway, Greater Anglia, London Midland, London Overground, Southeastern, Southern, South West Trains, Stansted Express, TfL Rail and Thameslink

In addition, East Midlands Trains and ScotRail offer GroupSave on certain journeys only.

Groups of three to nine adults can get 1/3 off Off-Peak tickets when travelling together. The group must travel together at all times. No further discounts (using Railcards, for example) are available for any of the passengers.

There are certain days when GroupSave cannot be used on some services. Have a look at the GroupSave Calendar for more information.

Group Travel for larger groups – 10 or more people

When ten or more passengers travel together as a party to the same destination, a great discount may be available. Most Train Companies offer discounted Group Travel rates but the discount, times of availability and conditions of use may vary and may require advance booking or seat reservations. Contact the appropriate Train Operating Company's Group Travel office or Customer Relations office for full details.
