Small Group Day is a product that offers groups of between 3-9 people the opportunity to travel at discounted rates (25% of the equivalent day product) across the Transport for Wales network.

Small Group Day is available for any combination of adults and children on Transport for Wales and the services of other train operators to the locations served by Transport for Wales.

Purchase Details

Small Group Day tickets can be bought from ticket offices and ticket vending machines, and should be purchased at the first available opportunity before boarding. Where ticket purchasing facilities do not exist at your starting point, you can purchase Small Group Day tickets from the Conductor on the train.

Not available:

  • On certain dates where major sporting events occur within the Transport for Wales network

  • With any other special offer or promotion

  • With combined train and bus travel
