Description

Engineering work is taking place in the Barrow-in-Furness area, closing some lines.

Saturday

The 21:59 Manchester Airport to Barrow-in-Furness service will terminate at Lancaster. A bus will be provided from Lancaster to Barrow-in-Furness.

The 22:21 Morecambe to Preston service will terminate at Lancaster. Onward journeys are available from Lancaster.

Sunday

The 08:41 Barrow-in-Furness to Manchester Oxford Road service will start from Carnforth. A bus will be provided from Barrow-in-Furness to Carnforth, departing Barrow-in-Furness at 07:35 to connect with the train at Carnforth.

The following services will not run:

  • 07:53 Barrow-in-Furness to Carnforth

  • 08:55 Carnforth to Carlisle

  • 09:05 Barrow-in-Furness to Lancaster
