Amended service to / from Scotland on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 April
All Avanti West Coast services to / from Glasgow Central / Edinburgh
TransPennine Express services between Manchester Airport and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh via Carlisle
Engineering work is taking place on Saturday in the Glasgow area, closing some lines and on Sunday in the Carlisle area closing all lines.
Avanti West Coast:
Services to / from Glasgow Central are reduced to one train per two hours, with extended journey times, calling additionally at Lockerbie, but not calling at Motherwell.
The remainder of the Glasgow Central service will start / terminate at Preston.
Some services will call additionally and Penrith and Oxenholme.
Edinburgh trains will run as normal.
No trains will serve Penrith, Carlilse, Lockerbie, Motherwell, Glasgow Central, Haymarket and Edinburgh.
A limited number of services will serve Lancaster and Oxenholme.
All remaining trains will start / terminate at Preston.
Alternative travel yet to be finalised.
There will be no train services between Carlisle and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh.
There will be no train services Oxenholme to Glasgow Central / Edinburgh.
Train service will operate between Carlisle and Edinburgh.
Rail Replacement buses will run between Oxenholme and Carlisle.
