Description

Engineering work is taking place between York and Newcastle, closing some lines.

CrossCountry:

Buses replace trains between York, Darlington, Durham and Newcastle.

LNER:

A reduced service of one train per hour will run in each direction between London Kings Cross and Newcastle on a diversionary route between York and Newcastle. Journey times will be extended by up to one hour.

All other services will start / terminate at York and Durham. Rail replacement buses will run between York and Durham, calling and Northallerton and Darlington.

Lumo:

All services will operate between Newcastle and Edinburgh only.

Northern:

Buses will be provided between Eaglescliffe and Darlington / Bishop Auckland.

TransPennine Express:

No service will operate between York and Newcastle.

Rail replacement buses will run between York and Newcastle.
