Description

Engineering work is taking place between Marsden and Mirfield and between Lockwood and Huddersfield , closing some lines.

Northern:

All weekend, trains between Sheffield and Huddersfield will start / terminate at Lockwood. A replacement bus service will operate between Lockwood and Huddersfield.

On Saturday, trains between Bradford Interchange and Huddersfield will not run, you should use TransPennine Express replacement bus services between Brighouse / Halifax and Huddersfield.

On Sunday, trains between Leeds and Huddersfield will terminate at Halifax, you should use TransPennine Express replacement bus services between Brighouse / Halifax and Huddersfield.

TransPennine Express:

No trains will run between Marsden and Leeds via Huddersfield.

A reduced and amended service will run via Hebden Bridge. An amended service will also run between:

  • Leeds and Hull.

  • York and Scarborough.

  • Manchester and Marsden.

Replacement buses will run between:

  • Marsden and Huddersfield.

  • Manchester Airport / Manchester Piccadilly and Huddersfield.

  • Huddersfield and Leeds (some fast and some via Dewsbury).

  • Huddersfield and Brighouse.
