Description

Engineering work is taking place between Shrewsbury and Wrexham, closing some lines.

Until 17:30:

As a result of engineering work between Shrewsbury and Wrexham, there will be an altered stopping service between Shrewsbury and Crewe, with some trains retimed, cancelled or replaced with a bus. Further details of engineering work between Shrewsbury and Wrexham can be found here.

Nantwich customers travelling directly to / from Crewe or Shrewsbury are advised to travel on diverted long distance services.

For journeys to / from Wrenbury, Whitchurch, Prees, Wem, Yorton, the following changes will apply:

Southbound

• The 13:20 Crewe to Shrewsbury services will run later, departing Crewe at 14:24, calling all stations to Shrewsbury.

• The 15:20 Crewe to Shrewsbury service will not run.

• Buses will run between Crewe and Shrewsbury departing at 12:30 and 15:30, calling at all stations.

Northbound

• The 12:24 Shrewsbury to Crewe service will run later, departing Shrewsbury at 13:16, calling all stations to Crewe.

• The 14:22 Shrewsbury to Crewe service will not run.

• The 16:24 Shrewsbury to Crewe service will run earlier throughout, departing Shrewsbury at 16:05.

• Buses will run between Shrewsbury and Crewe departing Shrewsbury at 11:30 and 14:30, calling all stations to Crewe.
