West Midlands Railway routes
Strike action to affect West Midlands Railway services has been announced by the ASLEF Union.
An ASLEF Union overtime ban is in place every day until Saturday 9 December and there will be alterations to West Midlands Railway services.
Thursday 7 December and Friday 8 December:
There will be no service between Leamington Spa and Nuneaton. Rail replacement services will operate.
There will be a reduced service between Birmingham and Hereford (via Worcester), and between Birmingham and Shrewsbury.
The last train 22:59 Hereford to Worcester Shrub Hill will not run.
The last train 23:22 Birmingham - Hednesford will not run. Instead, there will be a bus to Hednesford from Walsall, with the last train to Walsall at 23:00.
Saturday 9 December:
There will be no service between Leamington Spa and Nuneaton. Rail replacement services will operate.
There will be a reduced service between Birmingham and Hereford (via Worcester), the following trains will be cancelled between Birmingham and Shrewsbury (20:56 Birmingham - Shrewsbury and 22:40 Shrewsbury - Birmingham).
The 22:48 Wolverhampton to Hednesford will terminate at Birmingham New Street (please note: this is the last service of the day)
