Buses replace trains between Shrewsbury and Machynlleth from Saturday 6 to Sunday 21 May

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Welshpool and Machynlleth, closing all lines.

Trains will run between Birmingham International and Shrewsbury and also between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth / Pwllheli.

Rail replacement buses will run between Shrewsbury and Machynlleth calling at Welshpool, Newtown and Caersws.

If you are travelling from Birmingham and Shrewsbury and are planning to travel beyond Machynlleth you will need to depart one hour earlier to maintain connections at Machynlleth.
