Engineering work is taking place between Salford Crescent and Bolton / Atherton, closing some lines.
Saturday and Sunday
Trains from Manchester Airport to Barrow-in-Furness / Windermere will start at Bolton, and will call additionally at stations between Bolton and Preston.
Trains from Windermere / Barrow-in-Furness to Manchester Airport will call additionally at stations between Preston and Bolton, and will terminate at Bolton.
Saturday to Monday
Trains between Blackpool North and Manchester Airport will be diverted via Wigan North Western and will not call at stations via Bolton.
Trains between Southport and Manchester Oxford Road will terminate / start at Bolton.
Trains between Wigan Wallgate and Leeds will start / terminate from Manchester Victoria.
Rail replacement buses will be provided between Bolton and Manchester Victoria / Manchester Piccadilly, and also between Wigan Wallgate and Manchester Victoria via Atherton.
Monday
Trains between Manchester Airport and Barrow-in-Furness / Windermere will not run.
A shuttle train service will be provided between Blackpool North and Bolton.
