and also between Blackpool North and Manchester Oxford Road / Manchester Airport

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Bolton / Atherton and Salford Crescent, closing some lines.

Northern: ​​​​​​​

Blackpool North and Manchester Oxford Road / Manchester Airport:

These services will be diverted via Wigan North Western.

Southport - Manchester Victoria - Blackburn:

These services will start / terminate at Wigan Wallgate.

Wigan North Western and Stalybridge via Bolton:

These services will start / terminate at Manchester Victoria.

Rail replacement buses will run between:

• Preston and Bolton

• Bolton and Manchester Piccadilly / Manchester Victoria

• Wigan Wallgate and Bolton

• Wigan Wallgate and Salford Crescent

TransPennine Express:

Trains will run between Scotland and Preston only. For travel between Preston and Manchester, you should use alternative services.
