Between Bridgend via Rhoose Cardiff International Airport / Barry Island / Penarth and Cardiff Central / Cardiff Queen Street / Radyr / Caerphilly / Rhymney

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Cardiff and Penarth, Barry Island and Bridgend, closing some lines.

The following services are affected:

Until 12:25

  • Buses replace trains between Cardiff Central and Penarth, Barry Island and Bridgend via Rhoose Cardiff International Airport.

After 12:25

  • Services from Barry Island to Caerphilly / Rhymney start at Cardiff Central. A replacement bus service will run between Barry Island and Cardiff Central.

  • Services from Rhymney and Caerphilly to Barry Island terminate at Cardiff Central. A replacement bus service will run between Cardiff Central and Barry Island.

  • Services between Cardiff Central and Radyr via Waun-gron Park, Fairwater, and Danescourt will not run.

Ticket Acceptance:

If travelling between Cardiff Central and Radyr via Waun-gron Park, Fairwater and Danescourt, you should use local Buses to complete your journey.
