Description

Engineering work is taking place between Cardiff Queen Street and Cardiff Bay, closing all lines. ​​​​​​​Background information on this work can be found below.

No trains will run between Cardiff Queen Street and Cardiff Bay. You can use your ticket on Cardiff Bus services at no extra cost.

Replacement bus services will run during peak hours.

The replacement buses will run half hourly each morning between Cardiff Central and Cardiff Bay from 06:30 until 09:15 and each evening from 21:15 until 23:59.

Background Information:

The Cardiff Bay Line transformation is part of the South Wales Metro project. A new two-platform station in the north of Butetown is being built. The existing Cardiff Bay station will also get a second platform as well as new signage, customer information screens and other enhancements.
