Description

Engineering work is taking place in the Chester area, closing some lines.

The following alterations will be in place from Monday 22 to Thursday 25 April:

  • The 20:52 Chester to Manchester Airport will be cancelled.

  • The 21:08 Birmingham International to Manchester Piccadilly service will terminate at Chester.

  • The 21:53 Chester to Manchester Airport service will be cancelled.

  • The 22:02 Chester to Liverpool Lime Street service will be cancelled.

  • The 22:25 Manchester Airport to Chester service will be cancelled.

  • The 22:25 Manchester Airport to Holyhead service will run as booked between Chester and Holyhead.

  • The 23:22 Liverpool Lime Street to Chester service will be cancelled.

The following alterations will be in place from Tuesday 23 to Friday 26 April:

  • The 00:26 Manchester Piccadilly to Chester will be cancelled.

  • The 03:51 Chester to Manchester Airport will be cancelled.

  • The 04:55 Chester to Manchester Airport service will start at 05:00, and will terminate at Manchester Oxford Road.

  • The 05:25 Manchester Airport to Llandudno will start at Chester.

A rail replacement bus services will run between Chester and Manchester Piccadilly / Liverpool South Parkway.

For travel between Liverpool Lime Street and Liverpool South Parkway, and between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport, you should use other services.
