Description

Engineering work is taking place overnight between Chester and Manchester, closing some lines.

Transport for Wales:

Tuesday to Friday:

From 23:25 until 05:00 each morning, buses will replace trains between Chester and Liverpool South Parkway / Manchester Piccadilly.

Northern:

Monday to Thursday:

• The 22:10 Manchester Piccadilly to Chester service will run as normal to Altrincham, then call only at Knutsford, Northwich and Greenbank. A rail replacement bus service will run between Altrincham and Chester calling at all stations.

• The 22:52 Chester to Manchester Piccadilly service will be bus replaced throughout.

• The 23:13 Manchester Piccadilly to Chester service will be bus replaced throughout
