Description

Engineering work is taking place between Congleton and Macclesfield, closing some lines.

Avanti West Coast:

No trains will run between Stafford and Manchester Piccadilly via Stone-on-Trent. Trains will be diverted to run via Crewe and Wilmslow (2 per hour).

Replacement buses will operate between:-

• Stafford and Macclesfield caling at Stoke-on-Trent.

• Macclesfield and Wilmslow.

CrossCountry:

CrossCountry trains will not call at Macclesfield or Stoke-on-Trent.

Buses will replace trains between:

• Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent and Macclesfield.

• Stoke-on-Trent, Macclesfield and Wilmslow.

Northern:

Trains between Manchester Piccadilly and Macclesfield / Stoke-on-Trent will not run.

Rail replacement buses will run between Stockport and Macclesfield / Stoke-on-Trent. Alternative train services are available between Manchester Piccadilly and Stockport.
