Great Northern / Thameslink services to / from London Kings Cross


Engineering work is taking place between Finsbury Park and London Kings Cross, closing all lines on Sunday morning between 01:30 and 06:00.

End of service (Saturday):

The 01:40 London Kings Cross to Welwyn Garden City (Sunday) service will not run. A replacement bus will run between Finsbury Park and Welwyn Garden City.

Start of service (Sunday morning):

Before 06:00, no trains will run between Finsbury Park and London Kings Cross. A few trains will start from Hornsey station instead of Finsbury Park / London Kings Cross.

Paper tickets can be used on London Buses between London Kings Cross and Finsbury Park.

Before 09:30, buses will replace trains between:

  • Finsbury Park / Potters Bar and Letchworth Garden City and Peterborough.

  • Hertford North and Stevenage / Letchworth Garden City.

Additionally, the 06:40 and 07:00 Cambridge to London Kings Cross services will not run, and will be replaced by buses between Cambridge and Potters Bar.
