River Alt Bridge Replacement: Buses replace trains between Formby and Hall Road from Monday 19 to Friday 23 August

Description

Engineering work to replace a railway bridge over the River Alt is taking place between Formby and Hall Road. The work will close all lines from Monday 19 to Friday 23 August.

As a result, buses will replace trains between Formby and Hall Road.

In addition, there will be non-stop buses running between Southport and Hall Road from approximately 06:30 to 09:00 and 16:00 to 18:30.

Journey times will be extended for these five days, please allow additional time for your journeys.
