Description
Engineering work is taking place at various locations on the Grand Central network, closing some lines.
Saturday 30 December:
To / from Bradford Interchange:
Trains that usually run to / from Bradford Interchange will be amended to run to / from Halifax via Bradford Interchange. These trains will not call at Brighouse or Mirfield.
Replacement buses will run between Brighouse / Mirfield and Wakefield Kirkgate.
To / from Sunderland:
All trains between London Kings Cross and Sunderland will be retimed in the York area.
Sunday 31 December:
To / from Bradford Interchange:
Trains that usually run to / from Bradford Interchange will be amended to run to / from Halifax via Bradford Interchange. These trains will not call at Brighouse or Mirfield.
Replacement buses will run between Brighouse / Mirfield and Wakefield Kirkgate.
Additionally, the 15:59 Bradford Interchange to London Kings Cross and the 19:27 London Kings Cross to Bradford Interchange services will not run.
To / from Sunderland:
The 14:14 and 18:14 Sunderland to London Kings Cross services, and the 18:23 London Kings Cross to Sunderland service will not run.
Monday 1 January:
No Grand Central services will run on the Bradford Interchange or Sunderland routes.
Tuesday 2 January:
The 08:27 London Kings Cross to Sunderland service will not run.
