All Avanti West Coast / London Northwestern Railway services to / from London Euston

Description

Engineering work is taking place at London Euston, closing several platforms and on the approach to London Euston, closing some lines.

Avanti West Coast:

A reduced and amended Avanti West Coast service will run.

Saturday (after 08:30):

An hourly service will run between:

  • London Euston – Glasgow Central

  • London Euston – Manchester Piccadilly via Stoke-on-Trent

  • London Euston – Manchester Piccadilly via Crewe

  • London Euston – Liverpool Lime Street (stopping additionally at Nuneaton)

  • London Euston – Birmingham New Street

  • London Euston – and Edinburgh / Preston via Birmingham New Street

Chester / North Wales services will run between Crewe and Chester / Holyhead / Wrexham General only.

London Euston / Birmingham New Street to / from Glasgow Central / Blackpool North services are amended to run between Preston and Scotland.

Trains will not run to / from Blackpool North / Shrewsbury.

Sunday:

An hourly service will run between:

  • London Euston – Glasgow Central (stopping additionally at Crewe)

  • London Euston – Manchester Piccadilly via Stoke-on-Trent

  • London Euston – Manchester Piccadilly via Crewe

  • London Euston – Liverpool Lime Street (stopping additionally at Watford Junction, Nuneaton and Stafford)

  • Birmingham International – Preston/Edinburgh

Services to / from London Euston will be diverted via Northampton.

Chester / North Wales services will run between Crewe and Chester / Holyhead / Wrexham General.

London Euston / Birmingham New Street to / from Glasgow Central / Blackpool North services are amended to run between Preston and Scotland.

Trains will not run to / from Coventry / Blackpool North / Shrewsbury.

For Birmingham New Street, you should use the hourly Liverpool service to / from Stafford and change onto services that operate between Crewe and Birmingham New Street. A few late night trains will run between London Euston and Birmingham New Street via Stafford.

London Northwestern Railway:

From 08:30:

From 08:30 train services between London Euston and Tring which start / terminate at Tring will not run.

Between 08:30 and 20:00 trains services between London Euston and Northampton / Birmingham New Street / Crewe will depart earlier from / arrive later at London Euston. Trains between London Euston and Milton Keynes Central will run to a slightly amended timetable.

All day:

Trains between London Euston / Northampton and Birmingham New Street will run between London Euston / Northampton and Rugby and between Birmingham International and Birmingham New Street. Rail replacement buses will run between Rugby and Birmingham International.

Trains between London Euston and Crewe will run to an amended timetable and call additionally at Northampton.
