Avanti West Coast services to / from London Euston

Description

Engineering work is taking place in the London Euston and Rugby areas, closing various lines. ​​​​​​​

Avanti West Coast:

Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 December:

Between 21:15 on Saturday and until 11:00 on Sunday, an amended service of 6 trains per hour will run:

  • 2 trains per hour between London Euston and Manchester Piccadilly (1 via Crewe, 1 via Stoke-on-Trent).

  • 1 train per hour between London Euston and Liverpool Lime Street.

  • 1 train per hour between London Euston and Glasgow Central.

  • 1 train per hour between London Euston and Birmingham New Street.

  • 1 train per hour between London Euston and Blackpool / Scotland via Birmingham New Street.

Trains to / from Holyhead will run between Crewe and Holyhead only.

Sunday 31 December:

Before 11:50, all trains running through the Rugby area will be retimed by a few minutes.

Monday 1 January:

Trains will start up later than usual, from 07:00 onwards.

Replacement buses will run between Preston and Carlisle.

Additionally:

  • 1 x train per hour between London Euston and Manchester Piccadilly via Stoke-on-Trent.

  • 1 x train every 2 hours between London Euston and Manchester Piccadilly via Crewe.

  • 1 x train every 2 hours between London Euston and Liverpool Lime Street.

  • 1 x train per hour between London Euston and Preston.

  • 1 x train per hour between London Euston and Preston via Birmingham New Street.

  • 1 x train per hour between Carlisle and Glasgow Central.

Trains to / from Holyhead will run between Holyhead and Crewe only.
