Description

Engineering work is taking place between Macclesfield and Stoke-on-Trent, closing all lines.

Avanti West Coast:

On Sunday, 2 services per hour will run between London Euston and Manchester Piccadilly via Crewe. These services will not call at Stoke-on-Trent or Macclesfield.

On Monday, 1 service per hour will run between London Euston and Manchester Piccadilly via Crewe. These services will not call at Stoke-on-Trent or Macclesfield. 1 service per hour will also run between London Euston and Manchester Piccadilly via Stoke-on-Trent, Alsager and Crewe.

On Sunday and Monday, replacement buses will run between Macclesfield and Wilmslow / Stafford.

CrossCountry:

Trains will not call at Macclesfield and Stoke-on-Trent.

Rail replacement buses will run between:

  • Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent and Macclesfield

  • Stoke-on-Trent, Macclesfield and Wilmslow

Northern:

Trains between Manchester Piccadilly and Macclesfield / Stoke-on-Trent will not run.

Rail replacement buses will run between Stockport and Stoke-on-Trent.

Alternative rail services are available between Manchester Piccadilly and Stoke-on-Trent.
