Buses replace late night trains between Manchester Piccadilly / Altrincham and Chester from Monday 30 December to Thursday 2 January

Northern between Manchester Piccadilly and Chester

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Altrincham and Chester, closing all lines overnight.

Monday, Wednesday and Thursday:

• The 22:10 Manchester Piccadilly to Chester service will run as normal to Altrincham, and will then call at Knutsford, Northwich and Greenbank only. A replacement bus will run between Altrincham and Chester, calling at all booked stations.

• The 22:52 Chester to Manchester Piccadilly service will be replaced by a bus.

• The 23:13 Manchester Piccadilly to Chester service will be replaced by a bus.

Tuesday:

The following trains will not run:

• The 22:10 Manchester Piccadilly to Chester service.

• The 22:52 Chester to Manchester Piccadilly service.

• The 23:13 Manchester Piccadilly to Chester service.
