Description

Engineering work is taking place between Newcastle and Edinburgh via Morpeth, closing all lines. ​​​​​​​

CrossCountry:

Train services will run on a diversionary route between Newcastle and Edinburgh.

Rail replacement buses will run between Newcastle and Edinburgh.

LNER:

A reduced service will operate to / from Scotland and these services will run on a diversionary route between Newcastle and Edinburgh.

Journey times may be extended by up to 2 hours.

Rail replacement buses will run between Newcastle and Edinburgh, calling at Morpeth, Alnmouth, Berwick and Dunbar.

Lumo:

Train services will run between London Kings Cross and Newcastle only.

Rail replacement buses will run between Newcastle and Edinburgh connecting with train services.

Northern:

Buses will replace trains between Newcastle and Morpeth / Chathill.

ScotRail:

Edinburgh - North Berwick:

Trains will not run on this route. Replacement buses will run between Edinburgh and North Berwick, with direct and stopping buses available.

Edinburgh - Dunbar:
