Description

Engineering work is taking place between Newcastle and Berwick-upon-Tweed, closing all lines.

CrossCountry:

Buses will replace trains between Newcastle and Edinburgh.

LNER:

A reduced train service will run between Newcastle and Edinburgh, with trains diverting to run by an alternative route. Journey times will be extended by up to 2 hours.

On Saturday, an additional shuttle service will operate between Berwick-upon-Tweed and Edinburgh, with Rail Replacement coaches available between Newcastle, Morpeth, Alnmouth and Berwick-upon-Tweed.

On Sunday, Rail replacement coach services will be available from Newcastle to Edinburgh, calling at Morpeth, Alnmouth, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Reston and Dunbar.

On Friday and Monday, some services will start / terminate at alternate locations to facilitate the weekend engineering work.

Lumo:

Trains will be amended to run between London Kings Cross and Newcastle only.

Replacement buses will run between Newcastle and Edinburgh.

Northern:

Buses will replace trains between Newcastle / Morpeth and Chathill.

TransPennine Express:

Buses will replace trains between Newcastle and Edinburgh.
