Description

Engineering work is taking place between Newcastle and Berwick-upon-Tweed, closing all lines.

CrossCountry:

Buses will replace trains between Newcastle and Edinburgh.

On Saturday, trains will run between Berwick-upon-Tweed and Edinburgh.

LNER:

A reduced train service will run between Newcastle and Edinburgh, with trains diverting to run by an alternative route. Journey times will be extended by up to 2 hours.

Replacement buses will run between Newcastle and Edinburgh via Morpeth, Alnmouth, Berwick-upon-Tweed and Dunbar.

On Saturday, trains will run between Berwick-upon-Tweed and Edinburgh.

Lumo:

Trains will be amended to run between London Kings Cross and Newcastle only.

Replacement buses will run between Newcastle and Edinburgh.

TransPennine Express:

Buses will replace trains between Newcastle and Berwick-upon-Tweed (Saturday) / Edinburgh (Sunday).

On Saturday, an amended train timetable will run between Berwick-upon-Tweed and Edinburgh.

Northern:

Buses will replace trains between Newcastle and Morpeth / Chathill.
