Amended Northern service in the Wigan area from Sunday 31 March to Monday 1 April

Between Liverpool Lime Street and Wigan North Western / Blackpool North, between Wigan Wallgate and Manchester Victoria / Stalybridge and also between Southport and Manchester Victoria / Blackburn

Description

Engineering work is taking place in the Wigan area, closing some lines.

The following alterations will take place:

Sunday

Wigan Wallgate - Manchester Victoria / Stalybridge services will start from / terminate at Bolton.

Southport - Manchester Victoria / Blackburn services will start from / terminate at Manchester Victoria.

Liverpool Lime Street - Wigan North Western / Blackpool North services will terminate at / start back from St Helens Central.

Rail replacement transport will operate between Southport / Wigan and Bolton / Salford Crescent, and also between St Helens Central and Preston.

Monday

Liverpool Lime Street - Wigan North Western / Blackpool North services will terminate at / start back from St Helens Central.

Rail replacement transport will operate between St Helens Central and Preston.
