Engineering work is taking place between Nunthorpe and Glaisdale, closing the line (the Northern website has a map showing the impact of this improvement work).

Services between Middlesbrough and Whitby will start / terminate at Nunthorpe. A replacement bus service will run between Nunthorpe and Battersby / Whitby.
