Great Western Railway between Truro and Falmouth Docks

Description

Engineering work is taking place between St Austell and St Erth and between Truro and Falmouth, closing all lines.

CrossCountry:

No trains will run between Plymouth and Penzance. You should use Great Western Railway replacement bus services between these stations.

Great Western Railway:

An amended timetable will be in operation, most trains will start / terminate at Plymouth, a limited service will extend to St Austell.

A rail shuttle service will operate (half-hourly) between St Erth and Penzance. (St Erth - St Ives trains will operate normally).

Replacement buses will operate between St Austell and Penzance:

(Hourly) Calling St Erth and Penzance.

(Hourly) Calling Truro, Redruth, Camborne, Hayle, St Erth and Penzance.

At St Erth:

Buses from St Austell to Penzance will stop to set down only; buses from Penzance to St Austell will stop to pick up only.

Trains between Truro and Falmouth Docks will not run and will be replaced by buses throughout.

Buses will operate half-hourly and will call all stations, except that for most of the day Perranwell will be served on an hourly basis only.

Tuesday to Friday:

21:45 Penzance to London Paddington “Night Riviera” Sleeper service will start Plymouth.

23:45 London Paddington to Penzance “Night Riviera” Sleeper service will terminate Plymouth.
