Description

Engineering work is taking place between Preston and Blackpool North, closing some lines.

The following services are affected:

Monday:

• The 05:00 Blackpool North to Manchester Airport service will start from Preston at 05:26. A replacement bus will run from Blackpool North to Preston, departing earlier than usual at 04:10 in order to connect with the train.

Monday - Thursday:

• The 23:46 Manchester Airport to Blackpool North service will terminate at Preston. A replacement bus will run from Preston to Blackpool North.

Monday - Friday:

• The 05:29 Blackpool South to Preston service will start at Blackpool North at 05:44. A replacement bus will run from Blackpool South to Kirkham & Wesham (connecting with the altered train here). It will depart earlier than usual at 04:55 in order to connect with the train.
