ScotRail between Glasgow Central and Newton / Lanark / Motherwell (via Bellshill) / Edinburgh (via Shotts), Milngavie and Motherwell, and also between Balloch and Larkhall

Description

Engineering work is taking place in the Motherwell area, closing some lines.

Glasgow Central - Lanark:

• Buses replace trains between Glasgow Central and Motherwell.

• The 09:45 Motherwell to Lanark service will be replaced by a bus throughout, departing at 09:20.

• The 23:37 Lanark to Motherwell service will be replaced by a bus throughout.

Glasgow Central - Motherwell (via Bellshill):

• These services are replaced by a bus throughout.

Glasgow Central - Newton:

• Buses replace trains between Mount Florida and Newton.

Glasgow Central - Edinburgh (via Shotts):

• Trains will run between Carfin and Edinburgh only.

• Buses will run between Glasgow Central and Shotts.

You should change at Shotts for onward journeys to beyond Carfin.

Milngavie - Motherwell (via Hamilton):

• Trains will run between Milngavie and Rutherglen.

• Buses will run between Bridgeton and Motherwell (via Hamilton Circle).

Balloch - Larkhall (via Hamilton):

• Trains will run between Balloch and Rutherglen.

• Buses will run between Bridgeton and Motherwell (via Hamilton Circle).
