Description
Engineering work is taking place between Stirling and Perth, closing all lines.
LNER:
Saturday:
The 07:55 Inverness to London Kings Cross service will be diverted between Perth and Haymarket, and will not call at Gleneagles, Stirling or Falkirk Grahamston. A replacement bus will run between Perth and Gleneagles, Stirling and Falkirk Grahamston.
The 12:00 London Kings Cross to Inverness service will be amended to start 15 minutes earlier than usual, and will terminate at Edinburgh. A replacement bus will run from Edinburgh to Inverness via Perth. For other intermediate stations, you should use other train services.
Sunday:
Trains that usually run to / from Inverness will be amended to run to / from Stirling instead.
Replacement buses will run between Stirling and Inverness.
ScotRail:
Saturday and Sunday:
Glasgow Queen St – Perth / Dundee:
Buses replace trains between Glasgow Queen Street and Perth / Dundee.
Glasgow Queen St – Aberdeen / Elgin / Inverness:
Buses replace trains between Glasgow and Perth.
Edinburgh – Inverness (via Stirling):
Trains operate between Perth and Inverness.
Connecting bus services will operate between Haymarket and Perth (via Stirling). Bus services will also connect Stirling / intermediate stations with Perth.
Saturday only:
Alternate train services operate between Edinburgh and Perth (via Fife), and between Edinburgh and Stirling (onwards to Dunblane).
Sunday only:
Edinburgh – Perth:
Train services are diverted to Dundee instead of Perth. Buses will replace trains between Perth and Ladybank connecting with train services.
