Description

Engineering work is taking place at various locations on the Avanti West Coast network, closing some lines.

Due to the volume of engineering work taking place on the Avanti West Coast network, the following amended timetable will be in operation:

Saturday:

• London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly services are reduced to 2 services per hour (1 via Stoke-on-Trent and 1 via Crewe).

• London Euston to Birmingham New Street / Wolverhampton services are reduced to 2 services per hour.

• London Euston to Shrewsbury services are withdrawn.

Sunday:

• 1 Train Per Hour: Manchester Piccadilly to London Euston via Stoke-on-Trent (not via Birmingham New Street).

• 1 Train Per Hour: Manchester Piccadilly to London Euston via Crewe (not via Birmingham New Street).

• 1 Train Per Hour: Glasgow Central to London Euston (not via Birmingham New Street).

• 1 Train Per Hour: Preston/Edinburgh (alternating hours) to London Euston via Birmingham New Street.

• 1 Train every 2 Hours: Liverpool Lime Street to Crewe.

• Trains on the North Wales Coast will retain their usual timings but start and terminate at Crewe, not running to London Euston.
